PADELSCROLL PUBLIC INFORMATION
Safety, Privacy & Legal
The complete public guide to PadelScroll's terms, community rules, child safety, privacy, data handling, account security, Marketplace and ways to raise a concern.
Security, safety and data handling
PadelScroll should limit access to personal information, use access-controlled services, protect account credentials, and apply profile visibility, blocking and storage rules. Never share your password or one-time verification codes. Use a unique password and keep your email account secure.
Profile visibility follows the settings and permissions shown in the app. Public profiles may be seen by other users, and information available to other users follows the profile's existing privacy and follow permissions. A birthday is optional and is not used to verify age or restrict access to app features. Some sensitive profile fields are intended to be served only through privacy-aware application functions, rather than direct database reads.
Data can include account and profile details, date of birth, posts and comments, messages and attachments, group participation, Marketplace listings, uploaded media, reports, privacy requests, security events and technical information needed to operate and protect the service. Data is handled by the application's configured providers, including hosting, database, media storage and email services. Exact retention periods, backup expiry and deletion behavior must be confirmed against the live configuration before final publication.
Users may request access, correction, export or deletion of their information through the available privacy-request route. A request receipt is not confirmation that the action has been completed; identity and scope may need to be checked, and lawful safety/security holds may affect deletion. Do not promise completion until the action has actually been performed and verified.
Security incidents should be reported promptly. The operator should investigate, contain unauthorized access, preserve necessary audit evidence, assess affected data and obtain legal advice about any applicable notification obligations.
Child safety
PadelScroll is intended to be available to people across age groups. The app does not perform age verification or change core features based on a user's age. This section sets out community expectations and practical guidance; it is not a claim that any online service can guarantee a user's safety.
- Never groom, exploit, threaten, sexually harass, blackmail or pressure another user, especially a child.
- Do not request or share sexual images of minors. Do not download, save, forward or repost suspected child sexual abuse material.
- Do not pressure anyone to move conversations off-platform, keep unsafe contact secret, share their location, or disclose sensitive information.
- Everyone using PadelScroll should follow the same community rules, respect boundaries, and report harmful or exploitative behavior.
- If a person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority; PadelScroll is not an emergency service.
These rules are informational guidance, not age verification, supervision, or a guarantee of safety. Legal wording and operational procedures can be reviewed separately.
Blocking, reporting and response
Use the app's available block controls to limit unwanted interactions. Report suspected scams, harassment, exploitation, unsafe listings or privacy concerns through the supported reporting controls when enabled.
Reporting and privacy-request intake may be disabled in a given environment until monitored contacts, authorized reviewers and response processes have been verified. Do not assume a report or request was received unless the app confirms receipt. Acknowledgement is not the same as investigation, resolution or completion.
Current environment status: safety report intake is enabled; privacy request intake is not enabled. Do not rely on email or this page for emergency response.
Contact and privacy requests
Use the privacy-request form for access, correction, export, deletion or another question about personal information. Never send passwords or authentication codes in a request.
Proposed operator privacy/support contact: support@padelscroll.com. Confirmed operational safety contact: support@padelscroll.com. Confirmed operational privacy contact: not configured for this environment.
Before public launch, the operator must verify contact ownership, response coverage, retention/deletion schedules (including media and backups), and any required operator/address disclosures with qualified Pakistan counsel.
Full policy documents
The complete working drafts are included below on this same page—no need to navigate to separate policy pages to read the terms.
Privacy Policy
Working draft · Version LEGAL-DRAFT-0.4 · Pending qualified Pakistan legal review
Working policy document for PadelScroll. It describes intended information flows and must be checked against the deployed product, provider settings, retention schedules and applicable law before publication as a final policy.
Who operates PadelScroll
The operator identified for this project is Sharjeel Ahmed Abbasi, who controls PadelScroll. The initial intended launch market is Pakistan. Proposed privacy/support contact: support@padelscroll.com. No official service or business address has been supplied. Whether an address or additional operator details must be published for the Pakistan launch must be confirmed through qualified local legal review. This wording does not assert that a separate company or other legal entity has been registered.
Who may use the service
The initial intended launch market is Pakistan. Future expansion is planned for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf markets; Spain, the Netherlands and France; Argentina; the United States and Canada; Australia; and potentially other markets worldwide. This records future business intentions only: none of those future markets is approved for launch by this draft. The operator's product goal is to welcome users of any age without a blanket PadelScroll-imposed age cutoff. This is a product intention, not a promise that every person may lawfully use every feature. Before the Pakistan launch, qualified local counsel must confirm any minimum-age rules, guardian/parental-consent duties, app-store or platform requirements and other restrictions by feature; required controls must be implemented and tested. Every later country or region—and relevant state or province where applicable—requires a separate current legal and operational review before access is offered there.
A reliable age-appropriate onboarding, parental/guardian process where required, and child-safety response process must be implemented and tested before admitting children in markets where those controls are required.
Information we may process
- Account and authentication information, including email address and the identity assigned by the sign-in method used.
- Profile details a user chooses to supply, such as display name, username, biography, profile image, phone, location and skill level, plus date of birth, gender and relationship status where the current interface offers those fields. A full date of birth is shown to other viewers on public profiles and to accepted followers of private profiles; it is hidden from non-approved viewers of private profiles. Date of birth is self-declared and is not identity or age verification. The operator should review the necessity, privacy impact and lawful handling of each field before launch.
- Content and interactions such as posts, photos, videos, comments, reactions, tags, follows, blocks, group memberships, Marketplace listings and listing images. Marketplace payments are arranged directly between buyers and sellers; PadelScroll does not process or hold these payments.
- Direct and group messages, message media and voice notes, along with necessary delivery/read, membership and timestamp metadata.
- Security/technical logs and device/browser storage needed for sessions and service reliability, to the extent actually collected.
- Information provided by an external login provider if the user chooses social sign-in, limited to the scopes requested and granted.
Purposes and legal grounds
Information is used to authenticate users, operate profiles and social features, deliver posts and messages, support Marketplace listings, apply privacy and block rules, provide notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot the service and respond to legal requests.
The legal ground depends on the user, location and purpose; it may include providing the requested service, legitimate interests, compliance with law or consent where consent is actually required. Optional uses must not be bundled into required service consent. The final policy must describe the actual grounds and consent withdrawal process for each applicable market.
Audience, privacy and user content
Content visibility depends on the feature, profile privacy setting, group membership and how a user shares it. Public content may be accessible beyond the intended audience. Recipients may copy, capture or retain content shared in messages and groups.
Blocking limits specified interactions but cannot undo screenshots, exports or copies already held by others. Hiding/deleting a message for one account may not remove it from every recipient's view. PadelScroll must not be described as providing end-to-end encryption unless that design is verified and implemented.
For child-accessible markets, privacy-protective defaults, discoverability, who may message a child, location sharing and adult-minor contact must be assessed and implemented before launch.
Service providers and international transfers
The application currently uses Supabase for database/authentication, Vercel for application hosting and Cloudflare R2 for media storage. Actual regions, subprocessors, backup locations, contractual terms and transfer safeguards must be verified and documented before publication. Provider names alone do not establish a particular data residency or transfer arrangement.
This policy must be checked against actual monetization, advertising, analytics and sharing practices. It must not claim that personal information is never sold or shared unless the operator has verified that statement across all systems and vendors.
Security and retention
PadelScroll uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect accounts and content, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Never share account passwords or verification codes.
Information should be retained only for a documented purpose and for the period required for service operation, legal compliance, security and dispute handling. Exact deletion timing, backups, abandoned uploads, legal holds and copies delivered to recipients must be defined and tested. A complete retention schedule is not yet confirmed in this draft.
Choices and rights requests
Depending on applicable law, a user may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain to a regulator. The proposed privacy/support contact is support@padelscroll.com. The in-app privacy-request form is currently disabled in Preview while the handling process is being prepared; this draft does not claim that account export, erasure or every other request can already be fulfilled. Before publication, confirm the monitored request route, minimal identity verification, response deadlines, escalation owner and Pakistan-specific requirements.
Do not assume that an account-export or account-erasure service exists until it has been implemented and tested end to end. Some records may need to be preserved where permitted or required by law.
Children and teen safety
Children deserve age-appropriate explanations and stronger protection. Before the Pakistan launch, PadelScroll must assess the applicable minimum-age rules, consent/guardian requirements, age assurance, safer defaults and online-safety obligations. Do not admit children to features or markets until required safeguards are implemented and tested. Any future country or region requires a separate review before access is offered there.
For the initial Pakistan launch, the child-safety plan must cover reports of grooming or exploitation, unwanted adult contact, bullying, harmful content, parental/guardian requests, urgent escalation, account restrictions and data deletion/retention. Applicable Pakistani laws and any proposed legal changes must be checked at launch. This draft is not proof those operational processes are in place.
Cookies and similar technologies
The app may use browser storage for authentication/session persistence. This text is not a complete cookie or tracker inventory. Actual cookies, analytics, advertising pixels and third-party scripts must be audited and any required choices/notice implemented before publication.
Changes and contact
The operator must set a reliable process for policy updates, notifying users of material changes, recording versions where needed, and honoring applicable rights. Proposed privacy/support contact: support@padelscroll.com. No official service or business address has been supplied; qualified Pakistan counsel must confirm whether address or other operator disclosures are required before publication.
Terms of Service
Working draft · Version LEGAL-DRAFT-0.4 · Pending qualified Pakistan legal review
These draft terms describe expected rules for the PadelScroll social community. They are not ready to govern real users until all marked business decisions and local legal reviews are complete.
Operator and agreement
The operator identified for PadelScroll's initial Pakistan launch is Sharjeel Ahmed Abbasi, who controls the service. Proposed privacy/support contact: support@padelscroll.com. No official service or business address has been supplied. Qualified Pakistan counsel must confirm whether an address or other operator details are required before publication; this wording does not assert that a separate company or other legal entity has been registered. The final version must explain how and when a user accepts the terms, which version applies, and how material changes are communicated.
Eligibility, children and guardians
The initial intended launch market is Pakistan; future intended markets include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf markets; Spain, the Netherlands and France; Argentina; the United States and Canada; Australia; and potentially other markets worldwide. These are plans, not approved launches. The operator's product goal is to welcome users of any age without a blanket company-imposed age cutoff, subject to applicable law and platform/app-store requirements. This goal does not override minimum-age rules, social-media restrictions, a minor's capacity to contract or parental/guardian requirements. Before launch, qualified Pakistani counsel must confirm eligibility and required controls by feature. Required age/guardian safeguards must be implemented and tested before affected users are admitted. Every later country or region—and relevant state or province where applicable—needs a separate current review.
Do not enter false birth information or bypass age, safety or guardian checks. If an account is not eligible under a rule that applies to its location or feature, access may be refused or restricted.
Accounts and security
Users should supply accurate required information, safeguard credentials and promptly report suspected account compromise. Users must not impersonate others, evade suspensions or use the service to violate law or another person's rights.
User content and licence
You retain rights you own in content you upload. You grant PadelScroll a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, technically adapt and display the content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and provide the features you choose—for example, showing a post to its chosen audience or delivering a message and attachment to recipients.
This licence does not transfer ownership. It generally ends when the content is removed, subject to copies in recipients' accounts, backups, security records, legal records or other retention allowed by law and accurately explained in the Privacy Policy. Users must have the rights and permissions needed to upload their content.
Community standards and enforcement
Users must follow the Community Guidelines and must not harass, threaten, groom, exploit, impersonate, scam, spam, dox, infringe rights or evade a block. PadelScroll may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce rules or meet legal obligations. A proportionate review and appeals process should be offered where appropriate.
Messages and privacy
Messages and group content are shared with recipients or group members; recipients may copy or retain them. Do not assume messages are end-to-end encrypted or that hiding a message erases all copies. Blocking and privacy controls have the limits explained in the Privacy Policy.
Marketplace
PadelScroll provides user-submitted Marketplace listings and contact between buyers and sellers through the app's available features. It does not process, collect or hold payments for these user-to-user transactions. Buyers and sellers arrange and complete payments directly between themselves and are responsible for checking each other, verifying the item and price, choosing payment and delivery arrangements, and agreeing other transaction terms. PadelScroll is not a party to the sale and does not provide payment processing or escrow. This does not exclude mandatory consumer rights or legal duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability, suspension and legal terms
Features may change or be unavailable. The final terms must describe account closure/deletion, appeal rights, liability limitations that are lawful, dispute resolution, governing law and venue. [GOVERNING LAW, VENUE AND DISPUTE ROUTE REQUIRED]. Nothing should limit rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Community Guidelines
Working draft · Version LEGAL-DRAFT-0.4 · Pending qualified Pakistan legal review
PadelScroll should be a welcoming place for padel players. Pakistan is the initial intended launch market. Future plans include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf markets; Spain, the Netherlands and France; Argentina; the United States and Canada; Australia; and potentially other countries. These are not approved launches. These draft rules must be paired with working reporting, trained moderation, child-safety escalation and appeal procedures—and an all-ages access model that follows applicable law and implements any required age/guardian controls—before public launch in each market.
Respect each other
- Do not bully, harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or target someone with hateful abuse.
- Do not impersonate another person, expose private information, evade a block or coordinate abuse.
- Do not spam, phish, manipulate reviews, run scams or use fake profiles/listings to deceive others.
Protect children and teens
- PadelScroll prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sextortion, trafficking and sexual exploitation. Creating, requesting, uploading, sharing or storing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is prohibited.
- Do not pressure or ask a child to share a home address, school, precise live location, phone number, passwords, intimate images, or other identifying information, or to move into secret or unsafe contact.
- Do not use groups, voice notes, direct messages, images or Marketplace interactions to target or exploit a minor.
- Report suspected CSAE/CSAM or unsafe contact urgently through the available report flow or verified child-safety contact. Do not download, save, forward or repost suspected illegal material. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. PadelScroll must establish and follow the reporting/escalation steps required by applicable law before launch.
Content, media and intellectual property
- Do not post unlawful content, credible threats, exploitative imagery, dangerous instructions, stolen material or content that infringes another person's rights.
- Only upload photos, videos, voice notes and other media that you have permission and legal rights to share.
- Respect profile privacy, group boundaries and the expectations of message recipients.
Marketplace integrity
- Listings must be accurate and lawful. No counterfeit or stolen goods, prohibited items, fraud, misleading images or fake reviews.
- Use caution with payment, shipping and personal information. Report suspicious activity through the Marketplace's verified safety route.
Reporting and enforcement
The launched product must provide a clear, accessible way to report profiles, posts, comments/replies, direct/group messages and Marketplace listings, with a child-safety/CSAE reason and a distinct urgent escalation path. Reports must reach a monitored, access-controlled queue with a named child-safety contact, triage priorities, response expectations, evidence-handling rules, account/content restriction procedures and an appropriate appeal/review path. The final process must address CSAM removal and legally required reporting without asking users to re-share the material. Until these controls are implemented and tested, this draft does not promise that in-app reporting is available.
Enforcement may include content removal, limitations, temporary suspension or account termination, taking context, safety and applicable law into account. Where appropriate, users should have a way to appeal. In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services.
Marketplace Terms
Working draft · Version LEGAL-DRAFT-0.4 · Pending qualified Pakistan legal review
These draft rules cover user listings and seller/buyer contact. Pakistan is the initial intended launch market. Future plans include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf markets; Spain, the Netherlands and France; Argentina; the United States and Canada; Australia; and potentially other countries. These are not approved launches. For Pakistan and each later market, the terms must be reviewed against the actual payment flow and applicable consumer-protection requirements before access is offered.
Role of PadelScroll
PadelScroll provides Marketplace listings and ways for users to contact one another. It does not process, collect or hold payment for user-to-user sales and does not provide escrow. Buyers and sellers arrange and complete payments directly between themselves and are responsible for verifying item condition, identity, price, payment method, delivery and other transaction terms. PadelScroll does not guarantee a sale or payment and is not a party to the sale. This does not exclude mandatory consumer rights or legal duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Listings
- Use truthful titles, descriptions, prices, item condition and images; update or remove unavailable listings.
- List only items you are legally allowed to sell and own or are authorized to offer.
- Do not list counterfeit, stolen, illegal, unsafe, restricted or otherwise prohibited items.
- Do not use fake reviews, duplicate deceptive listings, misleading scarcity or other manipulative tactics.
Transactions and personal information
Buyers and sellers arrange and complete transaction payments directly between themselves; PadelScroll does not process, collect or hold those payments. Each party is responsible for checking the other party, the item, price, payment method, delivery and all other transaction terms before paying or handing over goods. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive information by message.
PadelScroll does not provide payment processing or escrow, and does not guarantee payment, item quality or delivery. Applicable consumer rights and other mandatory legal duties still apply.
Children, reports and enforcement
The operator must decide whether and how minors may use Marketplace features in each jurisdiction, including transaction-capacity requirements and adult contact safeguards. Do not let a general “all ages” statement override age or transaction restrictions.
The production experience must provide a working path to report scams, prohibited listings, unsafe products and exploitation, with a monitored review process. Listings or accounts may be restricted for violations, subject to applicable law and a proportionate appeals process.
